The captain breathed a laugh and nodded at the beautiful girl before him.”You first.”

She smiled exhaling in the same fashion.

“Alls I was going to say was. d’you ever catch the Doctor—”

Despite his intention to let her speak, Jack beat Rose to the punch, “Doing a little head bobble…thing?”

Biting her grin, she nodded vehemently all too happy she wasn’t the only one to notice the Doctor’s penchant for head rotations when he though he was alone, doing a sort of upper-bodied dance when he assumed nobody was looking. It was all sorts of hilarity to watch him do it, his head almost like a separate entity to him as it floated and bobbed along without him; a ridiculous sort of dance fit for a ridiculous sort of man.

Rose giggled a strained, “Yeah.”

Jack nodded again, smirking.

“Yeah,” he said, a smile twisting his lips and creasing the lines of his rugged face handsomely. “Yeah, I’ve seen it.”
